== Usage ==
This template generates a tournament bracket for the [[Stanley Cup Playoffs|NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs]] format that was in effect from the 1993-1994 season to the 2012-2013 season. Eight teams from each of the two conferences qualified for the playoffs. Pairings were then re-seeded after the first round. This system is still used in other leagues (see [{{fullurl:Special:Whatlinkshere/Template:{{PAGENAME}}|limit=999}} what links here]).
